This week we were joined by Affiliate marketing expert, Lee-Ann Johnstone. Lee-Ann founded affiliate insider almost 3 years ago, an affiliate marketing, news and content hub for iGaming affiliates. Affiliate insider focuses on digital insights, giving affiliate teams the knowledge and training to help drive their business. Delivering helps with affiliate marketing strategies, business plans and content marketing.
We caught up with Lee-Ann to find out where compliance sits within the training Affiliate Insider provides to affiliate managers and marketing teams. It was great to hear that compliance has become an everyday part of the affiliate acquisition/marketing process. From acquiring new affiliates to creating a compliant marketing strategy to make sure brands are well represented and avoid the risk of hefty fines for non-compliant content.
We also found out what’s next in line for Affiliate Insider. Given the current situation, the lack of iGaming conferences has bought challenges for affiliate marketers/teams to connect with new business opportunities. On the back of this problem, Lee- Ann and her team set out to create an online virtual community, connecting iGaming experts, affiliates and marketers. The newly formed Digital Marketing Mixer was launched in May, bringing together a mix of speed networking breakout sessions, tips on content marketing and how to engage more customers.
